Total PSP Management for Mac OS X

Since late 2004, iPSP was the first, and has been the leading Mac OS X Application built specifically for total PSP Mulitmedia Management from the ground up.

iPSP was the first app to to integrate iLife, your Mac and your PSP and continues to lead the way bringing exciting new features to Mac OS X mainstream users that were previously only available on PCs running Windows.

iPSP lets you manage the data on your Mac and your PSP, in a familiar "iApp" environment. Your Photos, Music, Videos, Documents and more are easily converted and transferred to your PSP with a minimum of fuss, hassle or confusion.

iPSP backs up and manages your PSP Saved Games too, archiving your progress and allowing for easy sharing with your friends.

iPSP will copy your selections to your PSP converting and optimizing as needed on the fly. It requires minimal settings or interaction from you...it Just Works. Stop struggling with counter-intuitive "me-too" apps that either put you on training wheels or require a degree to get the job done...when you're done gaming, start enjoying your PSP a little bit more with iPSP.

What about video?

iPSP is the most complete, but easy to use app for video on Mac OS X, from version 1.0 PSPs to the latest release. With iPSP, you can put the video you'd like to view on your PSP into a conversion queue, specify all the options you'd like for each clip, and run them all. iPSP lets you know when they are ready to go!

iPSP can make PSP-ready .MP4 MPEG-4 and AVC (MacOS X version) video clips from the following formats:

  • MPEG files - .mpg extension
  • Video for Windows files - .avi extension
  • QuickTime Files - .mov extension
  • Windows Media files - .wmv extension
  • DVD Video Object files - .vob extension
  • DVD Video Folders - VIDEO_TS (MacOSX version)
  • Digital Video files - .dv extension
  • High Definition Video - .m2t extension
  • More!

iPSP supports Auto Fullscreen mode for Widescreen video input, interactive Preview image selection, Custom titles and more!

Running the latest firmware? Not a problem. iPSP adds iTunes compatible videos *you already have* as a source. Just drag them from your library to your PSP and go! (protected media not supported)

Using Photos on your PSP is Easy with iPSP

IPSP lets you transfer photos to your PSP simply, and easily. Using iPSP you just click on the Photos category and you Photo library is there. Your rolls, folders and albums are a click away, and your photos are presented as handy thumbnails so you don't have to guess at what's going onto your PSP.

iPSP automatically converts and scales your photos for optimal viewing on the PSP, but also allows fine control via its Preferences.

iPSP also supports Bookmarks, and converts your documents for easy viewing on your PSP as well.

The World of Homebrew

The PSP has a vibrant community of independent developers creating a world of free user created Games, Applications and Utilities for the PSP...the "homebrew" scene...but you wouldn't know it judging from other Mac OS X PSP apps. Once again, iPSP leads the way.

iPSP now supports user created Games and Utilities via its Homebrew category, bringing features to advanced PSP enthusiasts on Mac OS X.

IPSP supports "eBoot" editing and conversion. Download a homebrew game, but can't get into the icon and art? iPSP lets you change it with Mac OS X drag and drop ease. Just add it to your Game Library, click Edit, and drag and drop in new artwork. When you leave edit mode, your changes are saved. Simple.

But what if the Game or App isn't in the format your PSP supports? Again, iPSP is ready. In Edit mode, just click the format you want your game to be converted to, either 1.5 Kx format, or 1.x/2.0-2.6 eLoader format. Your games are converted and saved into your Game Library. Then, use iPSP to transfer your games to your PSP. iPSP makes sure your Games and Apps get on the PSP in the right format, without "Corrupted Data" icons.

IPSP doesn't stop here. Advanced users of PSP software such as irShell can now easily share data on their Mac with their PSP as a "virtual Memory Stick" with a simple click, via USB, Airport or both!

Easy Disc Image Management: Finally on Mac OS X

The PSP is a portable gaming powerhouse. Unfortunately, that power comes at the cost of diminished battery usage. Advanced PSP users have know for quite awhile that for supported PSPs, the solution has been to play their games from Disc Images on the Memory Stick and have had the tools to manage and convert them...assuming they were using a PC running Windows.

No longer. iPSP now supports management and conversion of PSP Compressed Disc images...easily and painlessly with a couple of clicks. A fan of Dax ZISO? Or are you a Devhook Firmware Emulator fanatic? Either way, iPSP has you covered! Use your favorite tool to back up your Games (even over USB if your tool supports it...iPSP does!) and add them to the Disc Image category. iPSP lets you easily convert to, from and even *between* formats with a click. Not a bunch of crazy settings or a lot of steps involved...we're Mac people. iPSP even stores your disc's artwork and information for at-a-glance ease and convenience.

Your PSP is not a Black Hole with iPSP.

So what about the stuff on your PSP? Just click on the PSP category in iPSP and get an overview of what's there, and how much room its using. Click again on a specific type of Media, say Photos, and iPSP shows your content in the same familiar library view you've grown accustomed to. Need to free up some space? Don't hunt for stuff in the Finder, just select and press the Delete Key. Total PSP management is what iPSP is all about.
